"Can't recommend this service enough! Very friendly and helpful, quick turnaround and they brought my friend's hoover back to life — we both thought it was ready for the skip! It looks brand new and it has its full suction power back. 5 stars all day long 🌟"

If it can't be saved
A flat £20, and nothing more.
Every now and then a vacuum is genuinely beyond economic repair. If that's the case, the diagnostic fee is a flat £20 — no hidden charges, no awkward conversations.
Not liable for any pre-existing issues or damage. Shark vacuum electrical faults no longer accepted.
What I fix
From wheezy old uprights to fancy cordless sticks.
If it sucks (or, more often, doesn't), there's a good chance I can sort it. Common faults below — but the list isn't exhaustive, just ask.
-
01
Lost suction
Blockages, split hoses, perished seals, clogged filters, motor wear — diagnosed and restored.
-
02
Brush roll stopped
Belt replacements, hair & thread strip-down, brush bar bearings, drive motors.
-
03
Won't switch on
Cable, plug and switch faults — the most common reason a vacuum looks dead but isn't.
-
04
Cable rewind faults
Sticking rewind, frayed cables, broken catches on cylinder vacuums.
-
05
Burning smell
Usually a stretched belt or a brush bar that's seized — caught early, an easy fix.
-
06
Filters & servicing
Filter replacement, full strip-down clean, deodorising — back to feeling like new.

"Got CleanFix to service my Dyson hoover — they picked it up Sunday, returned it Monday. I thought they had bought me a new hoover, it was so clean and the suction was back to 100%. Would highly recommend them 😁"
"Fantastic and reasonably priced service — thank you so much! I would highly recommend and will no doubt use again."

Common questions
Anything else?
If my vacuum is repaired, do I still pay the £20?
No. The £20 only applies when a vacuum turns out to be beyond economic repair. If I fix it, you pay the agreed repair cost — and that's that.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer. I'll let you know the total when the job is done.
What should I tell you when I first get in touch?
The make and model of the vacuum and a short description of what it's doing (or not doing). A photo of the fault — or just of the machine — speeds things up considerably.
Where do I drop it off?
Send a WhatsApp or email and I'll confirm the drop-off address in Onchan. If it's easier, I can arrange a collection from anywhere on the Isle of Man — there's a small charge for that, depending on where you are.
Will I be without a hoover while you're fixing mine?
If a courtesy hoover is free at the time, you're welcome to borrow one while yours is in for repair — just ask when you drop it off. Stock varies, so it's worth flagging in your first message.

Quickest way to a working vacuum.
Tell me the make/model and what it's doing (or not doing). Photos help. I usually reply the same day.
